Camping Central was established in 2005 through eBay. We soon became one of the top eBay sellers and now have over 30,000 happy customers. From our humble beginnings here is the rest of our story.

Camping Gear in Stock

Every item you see listed in our website is available in our store and our warehouse. No need to wait. All items are brand new and covered by manufacturer's warranties.

Refunds and Returns

If you change your mind, no problems. We want you to be happy so here's what to do to organise your return, exchange or refund.

For a refund please send the stock back to Camping Central Unit 4, 22 Beaumont Road, Mt. Kuring-gai NSW 2080 - within 2 weeks of the order date unused and with product packaging intact and unwrapped. Products must be in the condition you received them and in the original box and/or packaging. Enclose a copy of your online receipt and payment method details, or login to your Store Account and request a return.

Unless the stock is incorrect or faulty we do not pay for return postage nor take responsibility for parcels that do not reach us. For the return of high-value goods, we recommend that you use a registered delivery service, as we cannot be responsible for non-delivery of returned items.

Once your return is received and inspected (usually within 72 hours of receipt), your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 days. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.

Please Note: we will deduct our postage & handling costs from your refund. Even if the item was free postage - we still would have occured postage costs to send it.

Shipping

On many products we offer Free Shipping. On the occasions that we don't offer free postage this is usually because the item is very bulky or it needs to be shipped to a remote part of Australia. 

Free postage only applies to Australian mainland and Tasmania. Other off-shore territories & islands such as Norfolk Island, Christmas Island, Nhulunbuy etc are not included in the free postage offer. If you want items posted to these areas, please contact us for a shipping quote.

All items are sent as Registered Parcels via Australia Post or with StarTrak Express Couriers.

We are only shipping within Australia at present but plan to expand into New Zealand in the future. If you are from New Zealand and would like a product sent to you, please send us an email to get a shipping quote. We can usually offer you a better price, including the shipping, than you can buy locally in New Zealand.

Warranties

All products come with either a 12 or 24 month manufacturer's warranty. Keep your receipt or register as an Account Customer and our software will keep a record of your transactions for you.

Pickups from the store

Pick-ups are not available.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does "Awaiting Fulfilment" mean?

You will receive an email from us at all stages of our order processing cycle. The "Awaiting Fulfilment" email means that we have received your order and will now start picking your goods, packing them and then shipping. Once your package has been picked up by our courier you'll receive another email notice to say it's on its way. We usually ships goods within 24 to 48 hours of receipt of your order.

Can I select a colour?

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee specific colour requests. For speed of processing they are sent randomly. If you want a specific colour please contact us prior to purchase. Once an order is placed it will be processed by our warehouse and colour selected randomly.
